Been writing like a crazy person, oh wait, what am I saying? I'm a crazy person who writes Mainly Avon stories, though I have been known to branch out into Avonish stories. And I committed the mortal sin of writing poetry yesterday. Not Avonish poetry unfortunately.

I love poetry but guess that is normal for me as I live in Walt Whitman Park neighborhood
Cannot go to the mall without seeing old Walt enshrined in stone statues 
The Edgar Allen Poe House also is nearby if I want to experience poetry of the macabe 
The Raven statue in the yard is said to take flight now and then bwaaaa probably some lost crow
So are you going to share your poetry so I can say I knew Kal before she was famous
Maybe we can write an Ode to Blake Statue with numerous Pigeons flying about

Oh, Whitman and Poe, you live in literary neighborhoods Nice.
Share...hm well, I don't know how good this is but I suppose I could share it for curiosity's sake.
The Shore
The fog of sleep
obscures the vision
of the cold
meaningless memories
of a life spent in
a drifting stream.
Carried along,
seeing the colourful shore
with its living colours
of leaves never gathered.
Smells imagined,
but never dared.
The wind rustling through
living instruments
never heard.
Why
did I never find
the strength,
the passion,
the courage
to step upon that shore?
The fog is thick now.
No more time to wonder.
No more time for dreams.
Only a faint feeling
of regret
there is no longer time for
as darkness claims the shore.

OMGosh this must be my night for watery prose 
I just finished listening to Blackmore's Night sing "Village Lanterne" a song about the Lady of the Lake.
I was reading their facebook page and discovered they were in Philly Halloween week damn and damn and damn 
Why does everything have to flow at the same time?
Gamers cons Zenkaikon and others have been ongoing for 2 weeks also
As for poetry Kal I did enjoy yours. Very deep and very heartfelt.
Very nice change from ode to my sprout or some such silliness
On the old forum at the beginning of my Pixie Pub thread when I encouraged everyone to write and post their work
the idea flew over like a lead balloon...
Are you the Oscar Wilde fan who is a very gifted artist?
I know I met someone like that on Horizon a while back.
I only posted one poem and well it was less than well received
I also once brought a guitar to school and sang Annabelle Lee to the tune of Bobby Dylan's "The Times They are a Changin"
The English teacher was displeased but my music teacher loved it.
A friend left 3 buttons open on her blouse and got an A+
Runrig my favourite band has a song titled "Lighthouse" & the lyrics are awesome.
Also lyrics about the water and what lies on the shore!
