We never give her the bun; we always cut the sausage up into little pieces on account of her not having any teeth. She pooh-poohs it anyway.

She's spoiled from all of the chicken that my mother gives her as well as spaghetti (with a bit of sauce), bacon (crispy), turkey (deli style), vanilla ice cream, and milk from the cereal bowl.

She won't take milk straight from the container; it HAS to have had cereal in it, otherwise she won't drink the stuff.

Speaking of precious pups.  The forever dachshund Facebook group posted an article entitled "58 celebrities who love their wieners" (must be an American group?).

Scandalously there was NO picture of Paul!!!  What an outrageous oversight!

Happily they were asking for people to send in pictures of celebs with their dachshunds so I posted that beautiful black and white portrait of Paul with one of his girls.  It was liked a gazillion times so there must be a few Darrow fans who are members of that group.

Good on you, Michelle! Cultural ignorance is shocking. I think I remember seeing  a black and white picture of Paul sitting and holding up one of his 'girls' with a wonderful smile on his face; doubtless the dog was grinning, too!

We've got a sort of ''tropical rain" thing going on in Sheffield. Incredibly humid. That's my excuse, anyway. Next I expect to see alligators crossing the road.
